Project «Couchless Living Room», NTV channel, «Kvartirnyi vopros» TV show

The designer solution for a living room was exceptionally eclectic, combining the layers of different eras, antique frescoes on the walls and frescoes with 70s geometric patterns on the wardrobes. As a basis for the sketch the designer chose Art. 7180 with antique ornament. For further ageing effect the image was partially faded and brushed off. It’s a collage combining graphical and painting elements of Antiquity and Renaissance. The texture of old wall is pictured on the image and also produced on the surface of fresco, so the picture looks like it was painted an the wall centuries ago and has aged naturally. The wardrobe were covered with geometry patterned ornaments that changes the visual shape of wardrobes, making it an art-object.
